Tony Toth, is a life-long resident of the Washington, DC metropolitan area with 37 years of experience in the fields of residential appraisal, home building and inspection.

Prior to moving into the field of real estate, he was a graduate of Aviation Technology and earned an FAA Airframe license. Aviation school provided basic training in many subject areas inherent in both fields of mechanics and home construction/inspection.

Building on his aviation training, he has state licensed experience as a real estate appraiser.  There he learned; principles of real estate, valuation processes, cost analysis, and performed construction loan inspections and gained understandings of loan processes for re-sales and new construction. Becoming a Class A Contractor gave him experience and proficiency in planning, permitting, scheduling, excavation/grading, drainage, utilities, carpentry, the trades, punch-list execution, and as general problem solver. The home inspection field has further provided extensive training with successful completion of studies at the Home Inspection Training Academy and continuing education – to date. Tony has a well-rounded perspective to share with his clients seeking informed home-buying decisions. He passed the NOVA-ASHI Peer Review in 2013 and has served his local NOVA-ASHI chapter as Secretary, Vice President and President from 2013-2018.
